Seating: 1806, VIP seats: 0) Zacarias FC's Galo Elvira started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Mikolas Bazarra managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zacarias FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikolas Bazarra was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Furman Erce breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Furman Erce took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Galo Elvira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Kevin Arancibia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisito Barea was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Zacarias FC's Herena Estebanez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Arancibia in the 14th minute of play. When Mikolas Bazarra came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Zacarias FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mikolas Bazarra couldn't finish the play. Galo Elvira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Furman Erce having to interfere. Loco Abres could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Herena Estebanez made a huge save. Herena Estebanez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lajacancha. After a rather tough play, Zacarias FC's Quilo Atencio got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Loco Abres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kevin Arancibia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Zacarias FC's zone, Loco Abres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herena Estebanez came out of the goal and Loco Abres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
