The Malpaso AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amado Villate should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the match, Malpaso AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Xacobo Mendaza came free, but Amado Villate reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee showed Ubarna Trielles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Malpaso AFC booed when Pilaya AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubarna Trielles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulo Ponga's late challenge caught a Pilaya AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 88thth minute of the game Sokol Simonchev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Malpaso AFC's Amado Villate was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Malpaso AFC's Amado Villate proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Malpaso AFC from getting a goal against them.
