After a rather tough play, Oruro's Distiratsu Abeita got a free kick in the 27th minute. Marcelito Abadia hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Inguma Caldero took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Xabier Abaunza. Oruro's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Galo Ca scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xabier Abaunza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Oruro getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Marcelito Abadia hit a great ball. After having played for 39 minutes, Galo Ca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Katari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Galo Ca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Oruro's zone, Galo Ca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xabier Abaunza came out of the goal and Galo Ca tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Grabiel Pe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xabier Abaunza having to interfere.

In the 52nd match minute, Oruro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bonifaco Abechuco to maneuver through the defense. After 56 minutes of play, Katari's Montrell Chacon made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xabier Abaunza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Galo Ca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Xabier Abaunza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristos Abendano came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Oruro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristos Abendano couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute, Ermegildo Abad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cristos Abendano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Estebe Yurrita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Abad, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Galo Ca spun around in front of the goal 86 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Oruro's goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Montrell Chacon got free with Xabier Abaunza in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Montrell Chacon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, Montrell Chacon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Katari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Montrell Chacon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Katari's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
