Otsoko Abajas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dolcet Capistrano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cienegapampa booed when Korotones AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ambrosio Olave didn't get a good kick on the ball. Otsoko Abajas came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Korotones AFC's Lander Flores. But to his dismay, Lander Flores quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nazario Abechuco to make the kick off. Isidor Loaces showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Abendano in the 53rd minute of the match. Isidor Loaces showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elizardo Abecia, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Korotones AFC's Isidor Loaces proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Korotones AFC from getting a goal against them. Isidor Loaces was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Elizardo Abecia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 88 minute of play. If Lander Flores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cienegapampa walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
