After 25 played minutes Magdalena got a freekick which was hit by Bela Abeitia. After a defensive mix-up in Magdalena's zone, Roland Valer stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ariando Abeita came out of the goal and Roland Valer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ariando Abeita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Izotz Palacio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 36 minutes, Pere Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Magdalena's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pere Abeijon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel Valdero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pere Abeijon in the 38th minute of play. The supporters of Magdalena booed when Piahay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Valer didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Roland Valer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roland Valer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariando Abeita having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Izotz Palacio made the kick off in the second half. Roland Valer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 55 minutes into the match, Magdalena's goal looked a bit too open when Izotz Palacio came free, but Ariando Abeita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Etxekopar Abad's late challenge caught a Piahay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Etxekopar Abad helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, Magdalena was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Etxekopar Abad to maneuver through the defense. Ariando Abeita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Izotz Palacio's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Roland Valer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ariando Abeita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roland Valer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Etxekopar Abad hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Magdalena's Ariando Abeita proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Magdalena from getting a goal against them. Esteve Freixes hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Piahay's Miguel Valdero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pere Abeijon in the 77th minute of play. Sanson Abalos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Valdero having to interfere. Piahay's Roland Valer got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sanson Abalos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Miguel Valdero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Piahay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Magdalena throughout the match.
