Roland Abellaneda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Izotz Palacio in the 10th minute of the match. Roland Valer blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roland Abellaneda having to make a save. In the 18th minute, Esteve Freixes made a precise shot to the right of Roland Abellaneda. Morguicho AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Miguel Valdero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asur Abascal in the 25th minute of play. Izotz Palacio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Roland Abellaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Piahay's Izotz Palacio in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Asur Abascal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Asur Abascal made a kick off. Miguel Valdero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Asur Abascal's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. Piahay's Miguel Valdero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delfino Abadie in the 63rd minute of play. Izotz Palacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 69th minute, Roland Valer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 70 played minutes Morguicho AFC got a freekick which was hit by Leheren Abendano. Asur Abascal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Miguel Valdero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Asur Abascal scored 2-1 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel Valdero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Asur Abascal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Miguel Valdero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Manolo Abella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96thth minute of the game Asur Abascal who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Piahay's Miguel Valdero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Morguicho AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Piahay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
