Donatello Abaurre's late challenge caught a Cucerete AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Donatello Abaurre helped the player get up and apologised. Donatello Abaurre hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After 10 played minutes, Cucerete AFC's Jakobe Ascarraga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ricardo Abar came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cucerete AFC reached it. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Peru Abello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Seque AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Peru Abello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucio Caseda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lucio Caseda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celipe Abaunza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20thth minute of the game Clementi Fole who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Seque AFC's Ricardo Abar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Clementi Fole's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ricardo Abar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Ellande Abadia kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. If Celipe Abaunza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucio Caseda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celipe Abaunza in the 34th minute of play. The supporters of Cucerete AFC booed when Seque AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petri Abenda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 44th minute, Rodolfo Madaria got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodolfo Madaria was the one to do the kick off. Clementi Fole received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ricardo Abar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cucerete AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodolfo Madaria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodolfo Madaria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jakobe Ascarraga was slow to take the kick. During this time Cucerete AFC's players had a chance to rest. Vasco Aballe thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Ricardo Abar, a very annoying self made goal in the 65th minute which led to 0-1. Clementi Fole received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ricardo Abar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clementi Fole sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clementi Fole might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ricardo Abar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out.
