After a defensive mix-up in Mandinga AFC's zone, Toli Abadie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bartoli Abajas came out of the goal and Toli Abadie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 33rd minute there was a penalty for Esperaza. Cordearo Abad stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Bartoli Abajas. 1-0. Cai Abello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petrigai Abar in the 44th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Petrigai Abar made the kick off in the second half. Toli Abadie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartoli Abajas having to interfere. In the 55thth minute of the game Norberto Abella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mandinga AFC's Bartoli Abajas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Petrigai Abar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cai Abello having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Toli Abadie in the 63rd minute of play forced Mandinga AFC's goalkeeper Bartoli Abajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd match minute, Mandinga AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jesco Abeijon to maneuver through the defense. Jesco Abeijon's late challenge caught a Esperaza's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jesco Abeijon helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Mandinga AFC's Jesco Abeijon got a free kick in the 95th minute. Toli Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. For all the effort they put into the match, the Mandinga AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Esperaza.
