A collision led to Pillana getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Alejandro Abecia hit a great ball. Hartz Abel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cordarrel Abastas's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Xuan Abancens scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erramu Abenda, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pillana's goalkeeper Hartz Abel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zosimo Abel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Hartz Abel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Zosimo Abel came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Atlético de Madrid La Paz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zosimo Abel couldn't finish the play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Pillana's goal looked a bit too open when Cordarrel Abastas came free, but Hartz Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pillana's Hartz Abel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarrel Abastas in the 44th minute of play. The Pillana players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético de Madrid La Paz were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zosimo Abel made a kick off. Hartz Abel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordarrel Abastas in the 53rd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Xuan Abancens managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pillana's supporters rose to their feet, but Xuan Abancens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erramu Abenda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Erramu Abenda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aires Aballe in the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 61 minutes, Cordarrel Abastas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético de Madrid La Paz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cordarrel Abastas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 67 minutes into the match, Pillana's goalkeeper Hartz Abel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eulalio Abeita. Zosimo Abel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hartz Abel having to interfere. Pillana's Hartz Abel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Pillana from getting a goal against them. After 74 played minutes Pillana got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Abastas. In the 76th minute, Eulalio Abeita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cordarrel Abastas got free with Hartz Abel in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute Zosimo Abel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hartz Abel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Laureano Abastas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cordarrel Abastas struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Hartz Abel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético de Madrid La Paz. Atlético de Madrid La Paz played a much better game than Pillana and deserved their victory. The Pillana players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
