Jhony FC's Edelmiro Abel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Jhony FC from getting a goal against them. Edelmiro Abel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Academia Celeste's Eloy Abel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edelmiro Abel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Garin Aballe charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Garin Aballe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, Academia Celeste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garin Aballe to maneuver through the defense. Lucado Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgilio Abeita, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. The supporters of Academia Celeste booed when Jhony FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillerme Abello didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Cristo Abello in the 23rd minute really tested Edelmiro Abel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Virgilio Abeita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Lucado Abad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 28 minutes, Virgilio Abeita put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lucado Abad. In the 31st minute, Gergori Abeijon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Eloy Abel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. In the 47th minute of the match, Eloy Abel tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edelmiro Abel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After the first half Jhony FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eloy Abel made a kick off. If Tajo Abello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaur Abaurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Abel having to interfere. Eloy Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Jhony FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaur Abaurre came free, but Edelmiro Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edelmiro Abel came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Celeste's Eloy Abel. But to his dismay, Eloy Abel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gaur Abaurre took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edelmiro Abel. Edelmiro Abel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Eloy Abel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eloy Abel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Abel having to interfere.
