Lluc Abascals short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got John Abarca to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Lluc Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Xuban Abecia, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 48 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The John Abarca was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xuban Abecia was the one to do the kick off. Demario Abarca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Constantino Abalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
