Seating: 1844, VIP seats: 0) Roegelio Abastas made the kick off and thus started the match. Xicu Abadie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Pellas Abella tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Xicu Abadie came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Ixiamas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xicu Abadie couldn't finish the play. In the 12thth minute of the game Erdiano Abendano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 20 de Mayo's Pellas Abella was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Errando Abastas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roegelio Abastas, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Jon Abechuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pellas Abella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erdiano Abendano, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Eriz Abel fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 20 de Mayo's protests and gave Eriz Abel a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes 20 de Mayo got a freekick which was hit by Eriz Abel. Errando Abastas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roegelio Abastas in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, 20 de Mayo's goalkeeper Pellas Abella had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Xicu Abadie. If Xicu Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erdiano Abendano struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Pellas Abella didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ixiamas. After having played for 42 minutes, Xicu Abadie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ixiamas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xicu Abadie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 de Mayo's Pellas Abella proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save 20 de Mayo from getting a goal against them. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Jon Abechuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Erdiano Abendano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erdiano Abendano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pellas Abella having to interfere. Pellas Abella came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Ixiamas's Xicu Abadie. But to his dismay, Xicu Abadie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Xicu Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Ixiamas's zone, Roegelio Abastas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Errando Abastas came out of the goal and Roegelio Abastas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Errando Abastas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roegelio Abastas in the 92nd minute of the match. 20 de Mayo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
