Eloy Abecia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Abeijon having to interfere. BOLIVAR's Gervasio Abeijon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fortunato Abaurre in the 29th minute of play. Eloy Abecia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Gervasio Abeijon made a huge save. In the 33rd minute, Pirro Abendano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Black Star fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Eloy Abecia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Abeijon having to interfere. Patricio Abadie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Abaunza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Muno Abellaneda charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Muno Abellaneda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Muno Abellaneda kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute of the match Arano Abajas sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Carlos Abaunza skillfully saved the ball. BOLIVAR's Patricio Abadie got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillerme Abancens in the 46th minute of play forced Black Star's goalkeeper Carlos Abaunza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Black Star's Delmiro Abellaneda got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fortunato Abaurre to strike the kick off in the second half. Eloy Abecia scored 3-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gervasio Abeijon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Black Star booed when BOLIVAR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Loreto Abar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fortunato Abaurre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gervasio Abeijon having to interfere. After having played for 82 minutes, Guillerme Abancens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BOLIVAR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillerme Abancens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Patricio Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Black Star's goalkeeper Carlos Abaunza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. BOLIVAR's Patricio Abadie got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Patricio Abadie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. BOLIVAR's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
