The Nacional Potosí fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Abello in the 12th minute of play forced Industria Boliviana S.A.'s goalkeeper Bidari Abancens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tomas Abello in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bidari Abancens saved Industria Boliviana S.A. from getting behind. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Industria Boliviana S.A.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Itzaina Abastas was slow to take the kick. During this time Nacional Potosí's players had a chance to rest. Wyatt Jeffers was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Nacional Potosí's Rogelio Abel was substituted for Rojelio Abalos.
