The Manchester City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaur Abastas should have stopped the shot. 7 minutes into the match, Leonardo Astrada notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Manchester City's Gaur Abastas. Gaur Abastas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 12th minute, Wyatt Jeffers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gaur Abastas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Gaur Abastas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Abello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaur Abastas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Abello in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wyatt Jeffers in the 22nd minute of play forced Manchester City's goalkeeper Gaur Abastas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaur Abastas came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Nacional Potosí's Wyatt Jeffers. But to his dismay, Wyatt Jeffers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. 30 minutes into the match, Lionel Beets notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Manchester City's Gaur Abastas. Gaur Abastas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 33rd minute Wyatt Jeffers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaur Abastas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeremy Blomme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txindoki Abeijon, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. The supporters of Nacional Potosí booed when Manchester City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gartzi Abascal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gaur Abastas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Beets in the 41st minute of play. Manchester City's Gaur Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Abello in the 42nd minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, Leonardo Astrada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gaur Abastas. Manchester City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Astrada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. In the 48th minute, Gartzi Abascal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half Nacional Potosí were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 55th minute, Tomas Abello left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nacional Potosí fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-8. In the 57th minute Wyatt Jeffers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaur Abastas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nacional Potosí's Wyatt Jeffers was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 59th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 61st minute Tomas Abello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaur Abastas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 63 minutes into the game, Wyatt Jeffers recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gaur Abastas. Wyatt Jeffers showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-10. Manchester City's Gaur Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wyatt Jeffers in the 66th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Itzaina Abastas in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaur Abastas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tomas Abello scored 0-11 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaur Abastas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, Wyatt Jeffers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremy Blomme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claude Abenda in the 74th minute of play. After having played for 81 minutes, Lionel Beets managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nacional Potosí's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lionel Beets was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Tomas Abello kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gaur Abastas. That made the score 0-13 in the 87 minute of play. Manchester City's Gaur Abastas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Manchester City from getting a goal against them. 94 minutes into the match, Manchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Wyatt Jeffers came free, but Gaur Abastas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Manchester City's Gartzi Abascal got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 96th minute, Itzaina Abastas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
