Sam Van Heerle started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelino Abancens during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bolívar getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Angelino Abancens hit a great ball. Sam Van Heerle struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Juaneizu Abajas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bolton Wanderers. The supporters of Bolívar booed when Bolton Wanderers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sam Van Heerle didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Karmel Abadie kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 麦磊桑. That made the score 1-0 in the 14 minute of play. When Sam Van Heerle came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Bolton Wanderers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sam Van Heerle couldn't finish the play. After having played for 19 minutes, Sam Van Heerle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bolton Wanderers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sam Van Heerle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Bolívar's goal looked a bit too open when Sam Van Heerle came free, but Juaneizu Abajas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes Bolívar got a freekick which was hit by Sansone Abenda. 麦磊桑 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristo Abaunza in the 25th minute. Karmel Abadie received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 麦磊桑 came out and tried to block the shot, but Karmel Abadie slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bolívar's zone, Sam Van Heerle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juaneizu Abajas came out of the goal and Sam Van Heerle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Karmel Abadie notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Bolton Wanderers's 麦磊桑. 麦磊桑 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristo Abaunza was the one to do the kick off. 麦磊桑 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristo Abaunza in the 51st minute of the match. Su Ran Hong's late challenge caught a Bolívar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Su Ran Hong helped the player get up and apologised. The audience was convinced that Sam Van Heerle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juaneizu Abajas was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Bolívar's Marcelito Abendano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but 麦磊桑 in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 67 minutes, Montrell Abadie mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bolton Wanderers and the Bolívar players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bolton Wanderers's Zavier Abadie quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Enrico Abaunza, made in the 77th minute of the game. In the 77th minute, Baiarte Abadia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bolívar's Karmel Abadie got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 麦磊桑 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristo Abaunza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaus Dieter Kubel in the 88th minute of play forced Bolívar's goalkeeper Juaneizu Abajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juaneizu Abajas had great luck who in the 91stth minute grab hold of the ball when Sam Van Heerle from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. When Lopez Aballe fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bolívar's protests and gave Lopez Aballe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Bolívar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lopez Aballe to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, Bolívar could leave the field as winners, despite Bolton Wanderers having more of the ball for most of the match.
