In the 7th minute, Claude Abenda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 8 minutes into the match, Benino Abello notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Manchester City's Gaur Abastas. Gaur Abastas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Papo Abeitia in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gaur Abastas saved Manchester City from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benino Abello in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaur Abastas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Club Atlético Ciclon's Benino Abello got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Papo Abeitia put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gaur Abastas. 23 minutes into the match, Manchester City's goal looked a bit too open when Mané Fernandez came free, but Gaur Abastas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Manchester City's Txindoki Abeijon got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Diego Wayar took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 24th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gaur Abastas. Manchester City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Deyan Tătăruşanu was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Txindoki Abeijon. In the 31st minute Papo Abeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaur Abastas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Manchester City defense, Papo Abeitia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gaur Abastas. The Manchester City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gaur Abastas should have stopped the shot. 38 minutes into the game, Dolfos Abajas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manchester City's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Ciclon the free kick. After 38 played minutes Manchester City got a freekick which was hit by Dolfos Abajas. The audience was convinced that Papo Abeitia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gaur Abastas was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. Gaur Abastas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Papo Abeitia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute, Papo Abeitia made a precise shot to the right of Gaur Abastas. Manchester City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Leandro Aballe scored 0-5 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gaur Abastas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Benino Abello received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Gaur Abastas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaur Abastas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Manchester City's Gaur Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Papo Abeitia in the 79th minute of play. Papo Abeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaur Abastas having to interfere. In the 83rd minute Papo Abeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaur Abastas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Leandro Aballe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Atlético Ciclon's Benino Abello got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benino Abello got free with Gaur Abastas in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leandro Aballe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaur Abastas having to interfere. Club Atlético Ciclon's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
