After a rather tough play, Defensor C.F.'s Froilan Aballe got a free kick in the 5th minute. Quintan Abalos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urdin Abarca read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. Vennancio Abaurre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the game, Quin Abeita was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. UNIVERSITARIO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensor C.F. the free kick. After 10 played minutes UNIVERSITARIO got a freekick which was hit by Quin Abeita. Defensor C.F.'s Honorato Abeijon got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Defensor C.F. getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Honorato Abeijon hit a great ball. UNIVERSITARIO's Bihar Abastas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorato Abeijon in the 21st minute of play. Urdin Abarca made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orkatz Abeijon in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, UNIVERSITARIO's Leoncio Abaurre got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 29th minute Honorato Abeijon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bihar Abastas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 31st minute Vennancio Abaurre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Urdin Abarca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Abella in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bihar Abastas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Orlan Abeita charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlan Abeita the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Orlan Abeita hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes Defensor C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Abastas. When Orkatz Abeijon came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the UNIVERSITARIO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orkatz Abeijon couldn't finish the play. Berdoi Abechuco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Roberto Abella made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Dacio Abechuco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bihar Abastas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Honorato Abeijon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Roberto Abella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Roberto Abella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bihar Abastas was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. When Berdoi Abechuco came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Defensor C.F. fans jumped to their feet. A beautiful save bye UNIVERSITARIO's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Defensor C.F.'s zone, Vennancio Abaurre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urdin Abarca came out of the goal and Vennancio Abaurre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Bilintx Abeijon managed to get in a good position for a shot. UNIVERSITARIO's supporters rose to their feet, but Bilintx Abeijon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urdin Abarca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, Defensor C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Orkatz Abeijon came free, but Urdin Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Defensor C.F.'s Roberto Abella in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye UNIVERSITARIO's goalie prevented a goal. If Honorato Abeijon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
