Ciano Abarca charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciano Abarca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ciano Abarca hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Manchester United defense, Beto Alonso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Osvaldo Neiva. The Manchester United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Neiva should have stopped the shot. Osvaldo Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Neron Abastas in the 22nd minute of play. Abilio Abellaneda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Osvaldo Neiva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezequiel Palacios in the 27th minute of play. Osvaldo Neiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duarte Abarca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manchester United's Osvaldo Neiva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Alonso in the 40th minute of play. Osvaldo Neiva came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Potosí's Duarte Abarca. But to his dismay, Duarte Abarca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beto Alonso was the one to do the kick off. Osvaldo Neiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezequiel Palacios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Real Potosí's zone, Gagriel Abaurre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lon Abechuco came out of the goal and Gagriel Abaurre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Manchester United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Osvaldo Neiva should have stopped the shot. 60 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goalkeeper Osvaldo Neiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Duarte Abarca. 61 minutes into the match, Duarte Abarca notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Manchester United's Osvaldo Neiva. Osvaldo Neiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Alonso in the 66th minute of play forced Manchester United's goalkeeper Osvaldo Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Real Potosí getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Gilen Abeitia hit a great ball. 69 minutes into the game, Ciano Abarca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-6. Lon Abechuco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Osvaldo Neiva was a little too slow when Beto Alonso got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-7. Real Potosí made a substitution. Baldovino Abeita replaced Gilen Abeitia. Osvaldo Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Palacios in the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Manchester United's goal looked a bit too open when Marques Abenda came free, but Osvaldo Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marques Abenda succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-8 in the 83rd playminute. Real Potosí made a substitution. Nicholas Abadie replaced Neron Abastas. Nicholas Abadie was extremely unlucky when he, in the 87th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 90th play minutes Marques Abenda shot 1-9, a short shot which went by Osvaldo Neiva and just under the crossbar into goal. Marques Abenda in the 94thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Osvaldo Neiva, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Manchester United getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jorge Gordillo hit a great ball. After 96 played minutes, Real Potosí's Duarte Abarca shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Osvaldo Neiva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Potosí reached it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Real Potosí walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
