Aristides Lluc took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bihar Abastas. Bihar Abastas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 8 minutes, Daniel Onega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Pulpo Paceño's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Onega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of UNIVERSITARIO booed when El Pulpo Paceño was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Lluc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quintan Abalos kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Bilintx Abeijon's late challenge caught a El Pulpo Paceño's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bilintx Abeijon helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes UNIVERSITARIO got a freekick which was hit by Bilintx Abeijon. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danilo Abecia during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for UNIVERSITARIO! The referee gave El Pulpo Paceño a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kamil Glik, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of UNIVERSITARIO's Bihar Abastas. 0-2. Bihar Abastas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Lluc in the 22nd minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, UNIVERSITARIO's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Lluc came free, but Bihar Abastas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute, Quintan Abalos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Aristides Lluc came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the El Pulpo Paceño fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Lluc couldn't finish the play. After 34 minutes of play, El Pulpo Paceño's Aristides Lluc made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bihar Abastas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aristides Lluc struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Bihar Abastas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for El Pulpo Paceño. After a defensive mix-up in UNIVERSITARIO's zone, Aristides Lluc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bihar Abastas came out of the goal and Aristides Lluc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vennancio Abaurre to strike the kick off in the second half. Aristides Lluc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Bihar Abastas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristides Lluc sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Bihar Abastas made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Daniel Onega sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Onega came free with the goalkeeper in the 71st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bihar Abastas could save by the left post. Bihar Abastas didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 72nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-7. In the 81st minute, Joseph Lockwood reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bihar Abastas. The goal made the score 0-9. El Pulpo Paceño's Joseph Lockwood was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 84th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. In the 88th minute, Joseph Lockwood got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 89 minutes into the match, UNIVERSITARIO's goal looked a bit too open when Joseph Lockwood came free, but Bihar Abastas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Pulpo Paceño's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
