Tximitx Aballe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steven Texidor having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Fernando Abar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Steven Texidor. Mohozo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Abar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Serafo Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sporting Cristal's Fernando Abar in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The referee ignored Mohozo's protests and gave Adrio Monteros a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Sporting Cristal booed when Mohozo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adrio Monteros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Steven Texidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafo Abadie in the 58th minute of the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Peli Abeita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sporting Cristal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peli Abeita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 63rd minute of the match Adrio Monteros completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Adrio Monteros a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A hard shot 66 in the game by Fernando Abar from a close distance when the talented Steven Texidor managed to make a qualified save. Mohozo's players were relieved. After a rather tough play, Mohozo's Ereinotz Ulibarri got a free kick in the 67th minute. 68 minutes into the match, Fernando Abar dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Steven Texidor, 0-11. After 72 minutes, Fernando Abar made it 0-12 with a short kick to the right side. Mohozo's Steven Texidor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Fernando Abar put it in 0-13 from a short distance just to the right of Steven Texidor. Steven Texidor was a little too slow when Fernando Abar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 0-14. Sporting Cristal's Fernando Abar got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sporting Cristal's Fernando Abar was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 87th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Sporting Cristal played a much better game than Mohozo and deserved their victory. The Mohozo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
