Manos Manteca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argoitz Abeijon in the 23rd minute of the match. Santino Mora received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcelo Barovero came out and tried to block the shot, but Santino Mora slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 24th minute. Hector Enrique took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manos Manteca. Manos Manteca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 30th minute Boğaçhan Akyel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manos Manteca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 34 minutes into the game, one of River CBBA:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. River CBBA:s Marcelo Barovero showed great skill when he stopped Arlindo Sampaio:s penalty. 37 minutes into the match, Boğaçhan Akyel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manos Manteca. Discípulos de Ayn Rand's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Boğaçhan Akyel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. River CBBA's Marcelo Barovero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santino Mora in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, River CBBA's Juan Funes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manos Manteca. Manos Manteca yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Boğaçhan Akyel in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manos Manteca saved Discípulos de Ayn Rand from getting behind. In the 60th minute River CBBA were awarded a corner. Sergio Batista went to the cornerflag to take it. Manos Manteca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Argoitz Abeijon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santino Mora in the 68th minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gudesteo Abaunza fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Discípulos de Ayn Rand's protests and gave Gudesteo Abaunza a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Gudesteo Abaunza got a free kick in the 69th minute. River CBBA's Varis Birgelis was substituted for Hector Enrique.
