In the 3rd minute Ambrosio Lonzo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naike Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ambrosio Lonzo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Naike Abalos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, La Mandarina Mecánica's Arnaldo Colas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Manos Manteca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manos Manteca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Colas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 16 minutes into the match, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo Colas came free, but Manos Manteca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute La Mandarina Mecánica were awarded a corner. Elias Leimann went to the cornerflag to take it. La Mandarina Mecánica's Naike Abalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavio Geleberto in the 26th minute of play. When the match had been going on for 30 minutes Fjölnir Bergsson shot a great shot from long distance. It looked like a certain goal, but the audience witnessed a really smashing save by Manos Manteca when he caught the ball only just under the crossbar. In the 32nd minute of the match La Mandarina Mecánica got a corner. Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Elias Leimann ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 33rd minute, Leonardo Poncio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. La Mandarina Mecánica's Naike Abalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Deisler in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, La Mandarina Mecánica's goal looked a bit too open when Gunnar Deisler came free, but Naike Abalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Gunnar Deisler sped through La Mandarina Mecánica's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Naike Abalos. Ambrosio Lonzo got in the 40th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Naike Abalos handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Naike Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gunnar Deisler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The wind increased when Arnaldo Colas made the kick off in the second half. Naike Abalos made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Octavio Geleberto sent off a good shot on target. Arnaldo Colas took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Manos Manteca. Manos Manteca dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Colas in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Manos Manteca saved Discípulos de Ayn Rand from getting behind. A nice corner shot did that Elias Leimann got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manos Manteca quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Discípulos de Ayn Rand's Leonardo Poncio got a free kick in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Discípulos de Ayn Rand's goalkeeper Manos Manteca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, La Mandarina Mecánica's Naike Abalos got control of the ball when Ambrosio Lonzo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Naike Abalos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ambrosio Lonzo's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Octavio Geleberto took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Naike Abalos. Naike Abalos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. In the 90th match minute, La Mandarina Mecánica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rojelio Abeijon to maneuver through the defense.
