The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olivar Macia in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Barovero saved River CBBA from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Boğaçhan Akyel got free with Naike Abalos in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goal looked a bit too open when Fjölnir Bergsson came free, but Marcelo Barovero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fjölnir Bergsson in the 9th minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Marcelo Barovero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, La Mandarina Mecánica's Elias Leimann got a free kick in the 10th minute. Naike Abalos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Argoitz Abeijon in the 11th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juan Funes got free with Naike Abalos in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Naike Abalos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arano Abendano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Naike Abalos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Boğaçhan Akyel in the 27th minute. Marcelo Barovero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olivar Macia, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fjölnir Bergsson in the 35th minute of play. Boğaçhan Akyel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Naike Abalos having to interfere. In the 38th minute of the match, Argoitz Abeijon tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Naike Abalos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Argoitz Abeijon took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Naike Abalos. Naike Abalos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fjölnir Bergsson to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelo Barovero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fjölnir Bergsson in the 55th minute. 57 minutes into the match, La Mandarina Mecánica's goal looked a bit too open when Boğaçhan Akyel came free, but Naike Abalos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Naike Abalos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Argoitz Abeijon in the 59th minute of the match. River CBBA's Ponciano Abarca was substituted for Juan Funes. Marcelo Barovero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Colas's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Olivar Macia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Marcelo Barovero made a huge save. Olivar Macia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. River CBBA's Pablo Solari was substituted for Matías Almeida. Marcos Abad struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Marcelo Barovero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Mandarina Mecánica. In the 84th minute Ponciano Abarca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naike Abalos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La Mandarina Mecánica's Lucas-James Langoni was substituted for Arnaldo Colas. Dolfos Abar hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucas-James Langoni in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelo Barovero saved River CBBA from getting behind. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Lucas-James Langoni sped through River CBBA's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marcelo Barovero. If Argoitz Abeijon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Barovero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas-James Langoni in the 95th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
