Txatxu Espriella might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonel Carrete. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Txatxu Espriella ran back to his position shaking his head. The long shot by Paco Lena in the 14th minute really tested Pepillo Para's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Txatxu Espriella sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valery Forcadas might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonel Carrete. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valery Forcadas ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txatxu Espriella in the 18th minute of play forced Migues's goalkeeper Leonel Carrete to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Txatxu Espriella took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Leonel Carrete. Leonel Carrete dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrew Ruicerezo in the 23rd minute of play forced Verdun's goalkeeper Pepillo Para to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pepillo Para, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 35th minute, Andrew Ruicerezo fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Verdun's Pepillo Para played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrew Ruicerezo in the 41st minute of play. When Valery Forcadas came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Verdun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valery Forcadas couldn't finish the play. Matxin Figueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pepillo Para having to make a save. Migues's Andrew Ruicerezo managed to work through Verdun's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Andrew Ruicerezo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in.

The wind increased when Txatxu Espriella made the kick off in the second half. When Valery Forcadas came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Verdun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valery Forcadas couldn't finish the play. If Valery Forcadas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the match, Verdun's Txatxu Espriella sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonel Carrete narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Txatxu Espriella's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leonel Carrete read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Migues's goalkeeper Leonel Carrete, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Matxin Figueira came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Migues fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matxin Figueira couldn't finish the play. Lehoi Granja charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lehoi Granja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st minute, Lehoi Granja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrew Ruicerezo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Txatxu Espriella kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Leonel Carrete. That made the score 0-2 in the 76 minute of play. In the 80th minute, Migues's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Txatxu Espriella fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Matxin Figueira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Pepillo Para having to make a save. After 86 played minutes Verdun got a freekick which was hit by Laffitte Borjas. If Matxin Figueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
