With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xayveon Leniz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Olayo Tortoles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute Olayo Tortoles shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xayveon Leniz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Furtado Bailina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esquipula Rocandia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Furtado Bailina, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After some careless play in the Santiago FC defense, Enekoitz Isern kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xayveon Leniz. The Santiago FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xayveon Leniz should have stopped the shot. Xayveon Leniz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enekoitz Isern in the 23rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Santiago FC's zone, Olayo Tortoles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xayveon Leniz came out of the goal and Olayo Tortoles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Santiago FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Umbruso Viaña hit a great ball. Xayveon Leniz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enekoitz Isern went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Furtado Bailina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Urritz Pimentel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Urritz Pimentel struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Esquipula Rocandia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santiago FC. If Furtado Bailina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valiente Burguete kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After 48 played minutes DARK FC got a freekick which was hit by Enekoitz Isern.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Furtado Bailina was the one to do the kick off. Furtado Bailina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esquipula Rocandia having to interfere. After 59 played minutes DARK FC got a freekick which was hit by Bastian Graells. Leandro Temiño was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 60th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 61st match minute, DARK FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valiente Burguete to maneuver through the defense. If Furtado Bailina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. DARK FC's Esquipula Rocandia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urritz Pimentel in the 76th minute of play. After having played for 78 minutes, Urritz Pimentel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santiago FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urritz Pimentel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Enekoitz Isern had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bastian Graells charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bastian Graells the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bastian Graells hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, DARK FC's goal looked a bit too open when Urritz Pimentel came free, but Esquipula Rocandia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olayo Tortoles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xayveon Leniz having to interfere. The DARK FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing DARK FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
