Ricardo Marzana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zoilo Lanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Zoilo Lanis came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Mercedes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zoilo Lanis couldn't finish the play. 18 minutes into the game, one of Mercedes FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Xiao Bas had in the 19thth minute some difficulties stopping Chaime Goñi's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ricardo Marzana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriana Chapital in the 22nd minute of the match. Carlos Alberto de Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xiao Bas having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Detakito FC's Siro Pacio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Xiao Bas. That made the score 1-0 after 35 minutes of play. Ricardo Marzana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriana Chapital's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. Ricardo Marzana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoilo Lanis in the 40th minute of the match. Detakito FC's Ricardo Marzana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zoilo Lanis in the 43rd minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adriana Chapital made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Adriana Chapital tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ricardo Marzana saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 61 minutes into the match, Detakito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Adriana Chapital came free, but Ricardo Marzana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Detakito FC's Ricardo Marzana got control of the ball when Zoilo Lanis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ricardo Marzana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Heres in the 71st minute of the match. Ricardo Marzana came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Mercedes FC's Adriana Chapital. But to his dismay, Adriana Chapital quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Melchor Heres fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Marzana having to interfere.
