The attack was good, but when Adriana Chapital in the 13th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 14th minute, Zoilo Lanis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mercedes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 18 minutes into the game, Zoilo Lanis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Urbes Garavilla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Endura Rua managed to get in a good position for a shot. Menafra's supporters rose to their feet, but Endura Rua was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xiao Bas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martxelin Escajedo kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. The supporters of Menafra booed when Mercedes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cebo Espejo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zoilo Lanis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Urbes Garavilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Oton Barbadillo fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menafra's protests and gave Oton Barbadillo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute of the match Nando Caldevila sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Urbes Garavilla skillfully saved the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Menafra's goal looked a bit too open when Adriana Chapital came free, but Urbes Garavilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ferman Canado's late challenge caught a Mercedes FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferman Canado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Ferman Canado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urbes Garavilla came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Mercedes FC's Zoilo Lanis. But to his dismay, Zoilo Lanis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Endura Rua came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Menafra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Endura Rua couldn't finish the play. Adriana Chapital sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martxelin Escajedo hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Veremundo Romeo made the kick off in the second half. Rosendo Regil kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Xiao Bas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Veremundo Romeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Endura Rua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Xiao Bas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Endura Rua blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xiao Bas having to make a save. Xiao Bas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Endura Rua, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Menafra's goal looked a bit too open when Adriana Chapital came free, but Urbes Garavilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriana Chapital sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Veremundo Romeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xiao Bas having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zoilo Lanis in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urbes Garavilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Adriana Chapital took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Urbes Garavilla to make any attempt to save it.
