If Damian Heredia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quirze Peregrin was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Martin Montiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Efrain Haza made the kick off in the second half. Vazquez were furious when Itzaina Zumaya was red carded, 57 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Vazquez:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Caraguata:s goal. The referee gave Caraguata a penalty, 59 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joaquim Traspuesto, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Vazquez's Manny Villapadierna. 1-3. Quirze Peregrin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Vazquez players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
