Minas AFC:s Teodoro Coello showed great skill when he stopped Joaquim Traspuesto:s penalty. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Martin Montiano in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Coello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Faustino Volante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the game, Jeremias Sandino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caraguata's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minas AFC the free kick. After 32 played minutes Caraguata got a freekick which was hit by Jeremias Sandino. In the 33rd minute of the match Ubarna Pino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Quirze Peregrin showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Teodoro Coello made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damian Heredia in the 35th minute. Teodoro Coello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Montiano in the 42nd minute of play. Faustino Volante struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Quirze Peregrin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Minas AFC.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gelacio Graniela was the one to do the kick off. In the 75th minute, Damian Heredia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Teodoro Coello was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Gelacio Graniela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quirze Peregrin having to interfere. Caraguata's Martin Montiano suffered a concussion after 83 minutes and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Foro Rubain during the 83rd minute. The supporters of Caraguata booed when Minas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Libertad Bolilla didn't get a good kick on the ball.
