Oto Zucunza started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Constitution's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Abeita came free, but Narciso Riart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michel Asteguieta struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Narciso Riart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Verdun. Hipolito Martiniana's late challenge caught a Verdun's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hipolito Martiniana helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Humberto Abeita took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Narciso Riart to make any attempt to save it. In the 17th minute Humberto Abeita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Riart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute, Verdun's Humberto Abeita ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Narciso Riart. Narciso Riart yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. In the 22nd minute, Oto Zucunza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Asteguieta got free with Narciso Riart in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30thth minute of the game Oto Zucunza who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Verdun's Jonatan Cadiñanos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oto Zucunza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Cadiñanos having to interfere. Oto Zucunza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonatan Cadiñanos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. Narciso Riart made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Abeita in the 44th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Humberto Abeita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Verdun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel Asteguieta to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Riart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Abeita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Michel Asteguieta struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. In the 80thth minute of the game Humberto Abeita who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Constitution's Narciso Riart was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Michel Asteguieta scored 5-0 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narciso Riart, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jonatan Cadiñanos made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Oto Zucunza sent off a good shot on target. In the 91st minute Humberto Abeita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Riart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Verdun were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Constitution for a fine match.
