Spectators: 6711 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1711, VIP seats: 0) Hitz Velastegui fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Batista Zuniga having to interfere. 7 minutes into the game, Riverofc's Confesor Bazan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Batista Zuniga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When the match clock showed 11 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Eneko Bandera sped through Young FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Batista Zuniga. Batista Zuniga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eneko Bandera went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Young FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Batista Cardon hit a great ball. Batista Zuniga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eneko Bandera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aresti Melic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rutenio Piñon having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eneko Bandera in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Batista Zuniga saved Young FC from getting behind. If Fortunato Freixes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Eneko Bandera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Batista Zuniga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xaime Cezuago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Batista Zuniga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eneko Bandera to strike the kick off in the second half. Ciro Cruzado scored 1-3 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rutenio Piñon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hitz Velastegui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th minute, Hector Chaniz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute Confesor Bazan suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. Batista Cardon's late challenge caught a Riverofc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Batista Cardon helped the player get up and apologised. Riverofc made a substitution. Kenneth Kristiansson replaced Confesor Bazan. In the 61st minute, Fortunato Freixes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Batista Zuniga. The goal made the score 1-4. When Aresti Melic came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Young FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aresti Melic couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Fortunato Freixes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riverofc's supporters rose to their feet, but Fortunato Freixes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Batista Zuniga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Eneko Bandera kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Batista Zuniga. That made the score 1-5 in the 70 minute of play. The supporters of Riverofc booed when Young FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Michel Resco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Enmanuel Olano hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Eneko Bandera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Batista Zuniga made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Eneko Bandera kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Batista Zuniga. That made the score 1-6 in the 81 minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Riverofc's Fortunato Freixes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Batista Zuniga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hitz Velastegui struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Batista Zuniga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Riverofc. Riverofc's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
