It was a penalty for Totoral! 21 minutes into the match, Deportivo Iburicayupi's Indar Sarantes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimeno Arandia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Totoral getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Salvador Hormaza hit a great ball. Indar Sarantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jimeno Arandia having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Deportivo Iburicayupi's Indar Sarantes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimeno Arandia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marques Valino lost his temper 31 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 31 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. When Helder Ruifrancos came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Deportivo Iburicayupi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Helder Ruifrancos couldn't finish the play. Jimeno Arandia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Indar Sarantes, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Franko Solloso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eutropio Claramonte in the 44th minute of the match. Jimeno Arandia came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Iburicayupi's Helder Ruifrancos. But to his dismay, Helder Ruifrancos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Opazo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Zarza kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Jimeno Arandia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helder Ruifrancos in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Indar Sarantes in the 57th minute of play forced Totoral's goalkeeper Jimeno Arandia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Helder Ruifrancos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jimeno Arandia. Totoral's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Helder Ruifrancos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Indar Sarantes in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimeno Arandia saved Totoral from getting behind. In the 67th minute of the match Jerry Cagle shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jimeno Arandia showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jimeno Arandia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Helder Ruifrancos in the 70th minute of play. Indar Sarantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Helder Ruifrancos struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Jimeno Arandia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Iburicayupi. 81 minutes into the match, Totoral's goal looked a bit too open when Helder Ruifrancos came free, but Jimeno Arandia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Daniel Opazo came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Totoral fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Daniel Opazo couldn't finish the play. When Deportivo Iburicayupi's Helder Ruifrancos in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Totoral's goalie prevented a goal. Indar Sarantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Helder Ruifrancos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Jimeno Arandia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Totoral players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Deportivo Iburicayupi.
