Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Piedritas FC's Martxel Huemen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Marincho's goal looked a bit too open when Martxel Huemen came free, but Ralondo Bandera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ralondo Bandera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martxel Huemen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 6 minutes, Ralondo Bandera successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After a rather tough play, Piedritas FC's Martxel Huemen got a free kick in the 8th minute. Martxel Huemen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Chucho Sedeño came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Piedritas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chucho Sedeño couldn't finish the play. If Chucho Sedeño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martxel Huemen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Ralondo Bandera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 18 played minutes Marincho got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Ribadas. 20 minutes into the game, Ildefonso Pecina was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piedritas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marincho the free kick. Bahiano Carvajal, 21 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. After a rather tough play, Marincho's Ler Herrasti got a free kick in the 34th minute. Marincho's Ralondo Bandera proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Marincho from getting a goal against them. Carlos Ribadas hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Chucho Sedeño struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Ralondo Bandera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piedritas FC. When Martxel Huemen came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Piedritas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Martxel Huemen couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paco Vendrell to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Martxel Huemen in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ralondo Bandera saved Marincho from getting behind. Martxel Huemen struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Ralondo Bandera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piedritas FC. Martin Arena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egoi Sonibas having to interfere. When Piedritas FC's Martxel Huemen in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marincho's goalie prevented a goal. After 67 minutes, Bernardino Palomera mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Piedritas FC and the Marincho players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Marincho booed when Piedritas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Palomera didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 69 played minutes, Piedritas FC's Elazar Ibarlucea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ralondo Bandera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Piedritas FC reached it. After a rather tough play, Marincho's Cresitobalo Feito got a free kick in the 74th minute. If Chucho Sedeño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes, Martxel Huemen made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. Marincho's Ralondo Bandera tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chucho Sedeño in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ralondo Bandera prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Martxel Huemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ralondo Bandera having to interfere. Martin Arena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marincho's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
