Leheren Bobadilla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Refugio Usategui made a huge save. Mikeldi Olave showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benvide Beneit in the 4th minute of the match. The nice shot from Liberto Suarez in the 6thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Refugio Usategui had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Durazno AFC's Rene Perera slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Refugio Usategui. That made the score 1-0 after 7 minutes of play. With an all-out effort, Durazno AFC's Refugio Usategui threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rene Perera, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Rene Perera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Refugio Usategui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Perera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikeldi Olave showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benvide Beneit in the 22nd minute of the match. Ivan Vinuesa's late challenge caught a Musi AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Vinuesa helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Musi AFC a penalty, 29 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Reimundo Hoyuela, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Durazno AFC's Mikeldi Olave. 1-2. Refugio Usategui made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Liberto Suarez sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Musi AFC's Pitin Lavin got a free kick in the 36th minute. When Liberto Suarez came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Durazno AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Liberto Suarez couldn't finish the play. Liberto Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 43 minutes of play, Durazno AFC's Liberto Suarez made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Refugio Usategui was left in no man's land by his defense there! The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The audience was convinced that Rene Perera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Refugio Usategui was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. Liberto Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Refugio Usategui having to interfere. If Liberto Suarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Durazno AFC booed when Musi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paublo Rael didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cebo Carrion's late challenge caught a Durazno AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Liberto Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Refugio Usategui having to interfere. Rene Perera might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Refugio Usategui. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Perera ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the match, Liberto Suarez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Refugio Usategui. Musi AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Liberto Suarez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Liberto Suarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Refugio Usategui having to interfere. In the 85thth minute of the game Ivan Vinuesa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Musi AFC's Refugio Usategui was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Benvide Beneit sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 88th minute, Leheren Bobadilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bernebe Arambarri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Mikeldi Olave tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 94 minutes into the match, Musi AFC's Benvide Beneit sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mikeldi Olave narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There was no doubt that Durazno AFC were the better team. Durazno AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
