Ximun Navedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Refugio Usategui tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 17 minutes, Oier Borrajo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Benvide Beneit got free with Hipolito Escude in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 22 minutes into the match, Mirotaun's goalkeeper Hipolito Escude had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benvide Beneit. Paublo Rael hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Benvide Beneit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 31 minutes into the match, Mirotaun's goal looked a bit too open when Bernebe Arambarri came free, but Hipolito Escude reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hipolito Escude showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernebe Arambarri in the 31st minute of the match. In the 34th minute, Bernebe Arambarri fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hipolito Escude took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernebe Arambarri, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benvide Beneit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Hipolito Escude tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Oier Borrajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Musi AFC booed when Mirotaun was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paublo Forcada didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Ximun Navedo made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Mirotaun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Napier Campomanes to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute Bernebe Arambarri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Escude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Musi AFC's zone, Iratxo Villarin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Refugio Usategui came out of the goal and Iratxo Villarin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Mirotaun's Ximun Navedo in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Musi AFC's goalie prevented a goal. 70 minutes into the match, Musi AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ximun Navedo came free, but Refugio Usategui reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Musi AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Medardo Ubiña hit a great ball. Refugio Usategui took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ximun Navedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 80th minute Benvide Beneit shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Escude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Oier Borrajo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ximun Navedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Refugio Usategui read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. Oier Borrajo struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Refugio Usategui didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mirotaun. The Musi AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mirotaun's performance. The match ended with a win for Mirotaun.
