Porongos AFC's Rogerio Indart proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Porongos AFC from getting a goal against them. Herauso Olozagoitia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Sauzal's Herauso Olozagoitia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rogerio Indart. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Sauzal's Domenico Teijeiro got a free kick in the 13th minute. Hodei Pino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Rogerio Indart tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogerio Indart made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Herauso Olozagoitia sent off a good shot on target. When Hodei Pino came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Sauzal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hodei Pino couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Porongos AFC defense, Herauso Olozagoitia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogerio Indart. The Porongos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogerio Indart should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Sauzal booed when Porongos AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Cuadro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sauzal's Egoi Medel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Porongos AFC. Herauso Olozagoitia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Rogerio Indart made a huge save. 46 minutes into the match, Sauzal's goal looked a bit too open when Macerio Bevia came free, but Berbiz Cerrudemos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hodei Pino made a kick off. When Carmelo Alsua came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Porongos AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Alsua couldn't finish the play. Herauso Olozagoitia struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Rogerio Indart didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sauzal. Rogerio Indart stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Herauso Olozagoitia's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. The audience was convinced that Hodei Pino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogerio Indart was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Herauso Olozagoitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogerio Indart having to interfere.
