When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilen Melon made a kick off. If Emanuel Reguero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. Jairo Gaztelumendi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donio Bacon in the 64th minute. Gilen Melon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the Palmitas defense, Toro Jane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jairo Gaztelumendi. The Palmitas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jairo Gaztelumendi should have stopped the shot. 82 minutes into the match, Melo's goal looked a bit too open when Gilen Melon came free, but Txanton Trillanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Emanuel Reguero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jairo Gaztelumendi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Donio Bacon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
