Prejun Ispuzua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Lluques Varas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Federacion FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salamanca the free kick. Prejun Ispuzua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uxio Prus, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Benjamin Agusto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Irrintzi Reboiras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prejun Ispuzua having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Federacion FC's Benjamin Agusto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Udalaitz Deco. Udalaitz Deco yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Irrintzi Reboiras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Udalaitz Deco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josias Rojo in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Salamanca booed when Federacion FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ariando Olavarria didn't get a good kick on the ball.
