Spectators: 6690 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1690, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Santos Iglesias kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haimar Burell in the 5th minute of play forced Manguera FC's goalkeeper Leon Risel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Maurilio Laores had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, Manguera FC's Roger Peñas got a free kick in the 10th minute. Remigio Asteguieta's late challenge caught a Santiago's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remigio Asteguieta helped the player get up and apologised. Remigio Asteguieta hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. After 21 played minutes Santiago got a freekick which was hit by Ramiro Berti. After 23rd play minutes Santos Iglesias shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Damario Garrandes and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 39th minute, Haimar Burell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 40 minutes, Ramiro Berti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santiago and the Manguera FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ramiro Berti hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Damario Garrandes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santos Iglesias's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. If Haimar Burell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Iglesias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Haimar Burell made the kick off in the second half. Manguera FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Haimar Burell 52 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-1. The audience was convinced that Santos Iglesias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damario Garrandes was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Santos Iglesias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 62 minutes into the match, Santos Iglesias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damario Garrandes. Santiago's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santos Iglesias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 67 minutes into the match, Santos Iglesias notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Santiago's Damario Garrandes. Damario Garrandes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Santiago's zone, Santos Iglesias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damario Garrandes came out of the goal and Santos Iglesias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Santos Iglesias struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Damario Garrandes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manguera FC. In the 80th minute, Manguera FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gonsalvo Viera fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 86 minutes, Santos Iglesias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manguera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Iglesias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ismael Fernando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Damario Garrandes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
