The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 24thth minute of the game Pablo Caraveo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cambara AFC's Veronica Castañondo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Veronica Castañondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Caraveo in the 29th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elorri Eguiluz in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sagrario Sorriba saved Buricayupi from getting behind. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Buricayupi! The referee gave Cambara AFC a penalty, 41 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Xano Giron, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Buricayupi's Sagrario Sorriba. 0-1. Cambara AFC's Elorri Eguiluz got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Sagrario Sorriba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Benavides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cambara AFC's Veronica Castañondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pablo Caraveo in the 54th minute of play. Sagrario Sorriba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Franco Benavides, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Pablo Caraveo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sagrario Sorriba was a little too slow when Franco Benavides got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 0-2. Santo Villagomez hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Santo Villagomez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Veronica Castañondo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Villagomez, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Oxel Favalis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buricayupi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cambara AFC the free kick. A collision led to Buricayupi getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Oxel Favalis hit a great ball. After 74 played minutes, Cambara AFC's Xano Giron shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sagrario Sorriba came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cambara AFC reached it. When Cornelio Emperanza fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cambara AFC's protests and gave Cornelio Emperanza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Cornelio Emperanza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute Santo Villagomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Veronica Castañondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Buricayupi supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cambara AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cambara AFC.
