Veronica Castañondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Merida in the 16th minute of the match. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Franco Benavides stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Llorenc Clusella hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Franco Benavides managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cambara AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Franco Benavides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Etxahun Guinda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Horqueta's Etxahun Guinda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Benavides in the 63rd minute of play. When Paquito Tiagonce fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cambara AFC's protests and gave Paquito Tiagonce a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 65th minute of the game. One of Cambara AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Horqueta:s goal. Cambara AFC's Veronica Castañondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacinto Merida in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Cornelio Emperanza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cambara AFC's Franco Benavides got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cambara AFC's zone, Jacinto Merida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Veronica Castañondo came out of the goal and Jacinto Merida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 85th play minute Roman Llarena came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Veronica Castañondo. 0-2. Veronica Castañondo came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Horqueta's Roman Llarena. But to his dismay, Roman Llarena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. If Elorri Eguiluz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 98 minutes of play, Cambara AFC's Franco Benavides made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Etxahun Guinda was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Horqueta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
