The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesaro Somalo to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Jorrin Tezanos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico Peñarol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorrin Tezanos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Casimiro Villandiego managed to get in a good position for a shot. If Casimiro Villandiego had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Arenal AFC booed when Club Atletico Peñarol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cesaro Somalo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd minute, Sayvion Pellin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Casimiro Villandiego sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Club Atletico Peñarol had won after a very even match.
