Spectators: 7449 (Terracing: 5588, Seating: 1713, VIP seats: 148) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bela Garival started the match with the kick off. Bidun Ucieda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ermengol Penas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bela Garival in the 7th minute of the match. If Ruy Bardon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chus Sayas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When CA Peñarol's Bela Garival in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Nankatsu FC's goalie prevented a goal. Ermengol Penas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bela Garival, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute, Bidun Ucieda made a precise shot to the right of Ermengol Penas. Nankatsu FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nankatsu FC's Ermengol Penas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bela Garival in the 29th minute of play. In the 30th minute Bidun Ucieda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermengol Penas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Chus Sayas took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Xaiver Valderrama to make any attempt to save it. Bela Garival sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, Bidun Ucieda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ermengol Penas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bela Garival, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bidun Ucieda hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chus Sayas to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Nankatsu FC booed when CA Peñarol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Maquiano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bidun Ucieda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruy Bardon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xaiver Valderrama read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Bela Garival managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Peñarol's supporters rose to their feet, but Bela Garival was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ermengol Penas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Saturnino Calon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Ermengol Penas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Bidun Ucieda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Nankatsu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Bela Garival came free, but Ermengol Penas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to CA Peñarol getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Saturnino Calon hit a great ball. When Cecilio Valseca fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Peñarol's protests and gave Cecilio Valseca a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94thth minute of the game Chus Sayas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CA Peñarol's Xaiver Valderrama was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Despite being the better team, CA Peñarol failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
