But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Goncalve Buitron couldn't finish the play. Ciano Puente showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvanito Argudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Prospero Lucero hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvanito Argudo in the 44th minute of play forced Caraballo AFC's goalkeeper Ciano Puente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Silvanito Argudo kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ciano Puente. That made the score 2-1 in the 45 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.
