Ticho Iturbide might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ermengol Penas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ticho Iturbide ran back to his position shaking his head. Maurilio Luzuriaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chus Sayas in the 18th minute of play. Ticho Iturbide struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ermengol Penas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Darwin FC. Nankatsu FC's Ermengol Penas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Nankatsu FC from getting a goal against them. Maurilio Luzuriaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chus Sayas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ruy Bardon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal Logroño in the 34th minute of play forced Nankatsu FC's goalkeeper Ermengol Penas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Juvenal Logroño in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ermengol Penas saved Nankatsu FC from getting behind. Juvenal Logroño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ermengol Penas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Edson Cantos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Nankatsu FC's Bizi Hortiz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chus Sayas was the one to do the kick off. Ruy Bardon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maurilio Luzuriaga having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Nankatsu FC's zone, Ieltxu Barrial stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ermengol Penas came out of the goal and Ieltxu Barrial tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bizi Hortiz hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Ruy Bardon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Maurilio Luzuriaga made a huge save. Ermengol Penas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juvenal Logroño's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Orixe Villapun charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orixe Villapun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Orixe Villapun kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the match, Nankatsu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Juvenal Logroño came free, but Ermengol Penas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ticho Iturbide received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Ermengol Penas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruy Bardon scored 0-2 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maurilio Luzuriaga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute, Chus Sayas fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Maurilio Luzuriaga, passed just outside the right post. Maurilio Luzuriaga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ruy Bardon in the 97th minute.
