Mingo Agudo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaio Puntones, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. 14 minutes into the game, Santiago AFC's Isaio Puntones nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. If Aristides Zumalburu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eugenio Capon hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. In the 60th minute, Diego Cavallosa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Santiago AFC's Lope Fuentecilla didn't even have to move. In the 62nd minute, Leopoldo Preciado left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chilcas FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Arnalt Ares struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Lope Fuentecilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chilcas FC. Lope Fuentecilla stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aristides Zumalburu's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaio Puntones in the 71st minute of play forced Chilcas FC's goalkeeper Mingo Agudo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Chilcas FC's goalkeeper Mingo Agudo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Medero Montenegro.
