Ubelteso Giribet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A.R.U.. Michael Ballestero hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ekhi Carrozal in the 17th minute of play forced C.A.R.U.'s goalkeeper Fidensio Chimeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ekhi Carrozal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to C.A.R.U. getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Balendin Guisla hit a great ball. Fidensio Chimeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Amezua, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patricio Amezua in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidensio Chimeno saved C.A.R.U. from getting behind. The Yaguari FC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Yaguari FC's Patricio Amezua looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Yaguari FC's Michael Ballestero got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Celino Carnicero took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Ubelteso Giribet to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Celino Carnicero to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Yaguari FC got a freekick which was hit by Xavian Illanas. When Reno Deaguero came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the C.A.R.U. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reno Deaguero couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricio Amezua in the 57th minute of play forced C.A.R.U.'s goalkeeper Fidensio Chimeno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Patricio Amezua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ubelteso Giribet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celino Carnicero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. C.A.R.U.'s Fidensio Chimeno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Amezua in the 72nd minute of play. Fidensio Chimeno stood somewhat misplaced when Patricio Amezua came free in front of goal and shot 2-2 to the left of him in the 75 minute. Fidensio Chimeno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patricio Amezua in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute, Ekhi Carrozal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 83 minutes, Gonsalvo Domao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.R.U.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gonsalvo Domao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ubelteso Giribet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celino Carnicero in the 85th minute of the match. Fidensio Chimeno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patricio Amezua, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
