Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alvaro Telo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 10 played minutes Lambare got a freekick which was hit by Leobardo Covillas. When Gartzi Acereda came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Lambare fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gartzi Acereda couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Atlantida booed when Lambare was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sugoi Cardeños didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Berdaitz Villamañan from long distance, 25 minutes into the match, got Alvaro Telo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Pagomari Mencia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atlantida's supporters rose to their feet, but Pagomari Mencia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvaro Telo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Lambare's Gartzi Acereda got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Atlantida's Eloy Caceres seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Eloy Caceres the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Atlantida protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Eloy Caceres had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Lambare:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Atlantida:s goal. When Feo Solarriba fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lambare's protests and gave Feo Solarriba a yellow card for diving instead. After 77 played minutes Lambare got a freekick which was hit by Feo Solarriba. Tristan Quejo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Chorche Zucunza. Atlantida's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Lambare's zone, Pagomari Mencia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Telo came out of the goal and Pagomari Mencia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sugoi Cardeños sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
