The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Piraraja FC's Luzea Dineros got a free kick in the 9th minute. Nereo Elvira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mendiko Lape in the 11th minute. In the 15th match minute, Piraraja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luzea Dineros to maneuver through the defense. If Joaquim Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atauri Falconi came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by Cerro Oriental's William Peredes. But to his dismay, William Peredes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Piraraja FC's zone, Henry Jimenez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Atauri Falconi came out of the goal and Henry Jimenez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The wind increased when William Peredes made the kick off in the second half. Marcos Solbeida charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcos Solbeida the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Cerro Oriental booed when Piraraja FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Solbeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mendiko Lape sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atauri Falconi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from William Peredes went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Piraraja FC booed when Cerro Oriental was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eneko Udias didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Piraraja FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mendiko Lape to maneuver through the defense. If Joaquim Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cerro Oriental played a much better game than Piraraja FC and deserved their victory. The Piraraja FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
